About this site
Loyalty Card Maker is a free library of practical guides about digital loyalty cards in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet. It is published by the team that builds PassHive.
Who publishes this site
We are the people who build PassHive, a tool that lets shops, cafes, salons, car washes, restaurants and gyms issue their own branded stamp cards and points cards that customers save to Apple Wallet and Google Wallet.
This is not an independent review site. PassHive is the tool we recommend, and every call to action on these pages leads to it. We tell you that on every article so you can weigh what you read accordingly.
What you can expect from the guides
We explain how wallet loyalty cards work, what they cost, where they fit and where they do not. When we compare PassHive with another product, we only state facts we can source, and we say when the other product is the better fit, for example when a shop already runs everything inside one point-of-sale system.
We do not publish invented statistics, fake customer stories or made-up testimonials. Where we give a number, it is either a published price (with a link to its source and the date we checked) or a clearly labelled example calculation.
What PassHive does
Pricing is a flat monthly plan for the whole business. The plan sets the maximum number of active branches, with no limit on the number of cards or customers: $10 a month for up to 100 branches, $25 for up to 275, $50 for up to 600 and $100 for up to 1,250. Yearly billing gives two months free. You can design a card and preview it on iPhone and Android for free and pay only when you go live.
Cards show the shop's own name, colour and logo and update themselves on the phone. Shops can send messages to saved cards, set location reminders, switch a branch off at any time, and developers can use a public API with API keys. See the documentation.
